TRAINING

With a bespoke Training Academy on-site in Bury, our Training Team delivers daily coaching and development across the business,

 

This centre is leading the way by providing the training, qualifications and development that our employees need to build successful careers and face the challenges ahead.

 

Our field based personnel visit twice a year to not only update their skills but also to help them feel part of the Miller's family, sharing our standards and our aspirations.

 

Interestingly our cutting-edge training facility is also used by our customers who also practice in the electro-mechanical realm, preforming tests on both products and new equipment.

APPRENTICESHIPS

As part of Miller's on-going development of employees, an in-house apprenticeship scheme is in place to ensure that crucial skills and experience are passed on to the next generation of Miller's Engineers.

 

We currently have apprentices working with us as Engineer Support Technicians learning the trade in partnership with our best engineers, backed by our own training school and day release education for various HNC courses to help them become fully fledged Reactive Engineer.

CITY & GUILDS ASSURED TRAINING PROGRAMME

Millers Vanguard Training Centre has been successful in gaining the prestigious City & Guilds Assured Training status for two of its training programmes, the 3 Day Basic Electrical Principles Course and the 18 Month Support Technician Programme
